Arrow Arum (Peltandra virginica)

Arrow Arum has glossy, dark green, arrow shaped leaves and gets a pale green flower that resembles a jack-in-the-pulpit. It is mainly grown for its attractive foliage and makes an excellent accent plant. It is a native North American plant and winters over very easily.

Hardiness Zone: 5-9
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 1' to 2' - Spread: 24"
Water Depth: Moist Soil or water up to 6" deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)

    These came much bigger than from other vendors which was a plus. One was pretty small and sad- that one wasn't doing well within a day. Working on getting that one hopefully growing better inside before keeping it in my pond.

    This arrow arum came fairly quickly. Was pleased with the package. The plant had some yellowing foliage, so was concerned that it wasn't very healthy. I did pot it following the instructions, and they have done very well! Absolutely thrilled with how
